Request for Proposal

The City of Valparaiso seeks proposals from qualified firms or organizations with experience in all aspects of public transportation operations and vehicle maintenance, including experienced personnel.  A contract for services will be entered into between the City and the successful contractor. 

Prospective contractors may attend an optional pre-proposal meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 5 2018 at, 10:30 A.M. (local time), at the City of Valparaiso City Hall located at administrative offices, 166 Lincolnway, Valparaiso, Indiana.  All proposals must be received by City of Valparaiso by 4:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, July 12, 2018.  No proposals shall be accepted after this time and date.  The City of Valparaiso reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.

Requests for exceptions, deviations or approved equals to the Request for Proposals and/or specifications must be submitted to City of Valparaiso no later than 4:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, June 8, 2018.

Proposing firms must not be on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible firms.  The successful Proposer will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.  Disadvantaged Business Enterprises shall be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals.
