Notice of Fare increase Effective September 1, 2022

The Valparaiso Board of Works and Safety has approved a fare increase for the Chicago Dash and the South Shore Connect.
Effective September 1, 2022 the following fares will be in effect for all Dash and Connect fares.
Dash one way ride --$9.00
Dash Round Trip---$18.00
Dash Ten Rides Pass---$80.00
Dash Monthly Pass---$250.00
South Shore Connect 1 way ride-- $2.00
All Dash monthly pass holders will still ride the Connect with an active monthly pass.
Effective September 1, 2022 all monthly passes will now be active for 31 days from the date of activation! No longer will they expire at Midnight on the last day of the month. If you activate your pass on the 5th of the month. It will be active for 31 days! This is a modest fare increase to help with the high costs of fuel and contractual operating costs that have increased since the pandemic.
