Valpo Promotes New Greyhound Bus Stop

The City of Valparaiso has an added transit option for residents, with the addition of a Greyhound stop, connecting riders to popular Indiana destinations, such as Indianapolis, Carmel, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Bloomington and more, as well as connection to Greyhound’s network of over 1,700 destinations nationwide.

“Greyhound service from Valparaiso connects our residents with even more options,” said Valparaiso Mayor Matt Murphy. “Greyhound is an excellent complement to our existing city-sponsored services, including our V-Line intracity bus, and both the Dash bus and South Shore Connect to Chicago,” he said. The Greyhound stop is located at Valpo’s Village Station, 260 Brown St. and offers one northbound bus (departing Valparaiso at 7:05 am) and one southbound bus (departing Valparaiso at 10:55 am) daily.

To see a complete list of destinations and book a trip on Greyhound, visit, call (800) 231-2222 or download Greyhound’s mobile app.  Greyhound is the largest North American provider of intercity bus transportation, serving more than 1,700 destinations across the continent.
