Patrick Lyp is the attorney for the Redevelopment Commission.
Originally from Cranford, New Jersey, Patrick began serving as the Commission’s attorney in 2004, and is responsible for working with the Executive Director and Commission members on legal aspects of projects. His most current projects are ValpoNet and the Garmong Building, which is a part of the Industrial Parks development. He is also a member of the Valparaiso Economic Development Corp. He assists both existing Valparaiso businesses and prospective business in completing their projects as well as seeking city incentives.
Patrick moved to Valparaiso in 1997, though he admits he is and always will be a New York Yankees fan.
