At the Valparaiso Fire Department we currently have 75 full-time Firefighters, including 5 Chief Officers in the Administrative Office, and 2 civilian Administrative Office employees.
- 3 shifts rotate in 24 hours on / 48 hours off increments - A / B / C crews
- 23 Firefighters per shift
- 1 Battalion Chief per crew
- 3 Fire Stations within the City of Valparaiso and Center Township (Fire Territory)
